Last Updated on September 12, 2024 by Holland Rocha

Our core mission at Re:amaze is to help eCommerce merchants of all shapes and sizes communicate with customers and deliver better engagement across their sales and support experiences. An important part of creating a customer journey that scales for success is optimizing for experiences that occur and flourish on social media platforms such as Facebook.

Over the past few years, Re:amaze has helped thousands of merchants harness the power of social commerce by allowing them to support customers on a variety of Facebook channels including Facebook Pages, Messenger from Facebook, and Instagram from Facebook directly on the Re:amaze platform, saving time and boosting team efficiency.

These powerful integrations have paved the way for better conversational commerce experience when it comes to intuitive, contextual, and most importantly, timely workflows. And while automation is a focus for Facebook and Re:amaze to help merchants achieve scalable growth, both companies are committed to the value of allowing customers to chat directly with merchants.

Today, we’re extremely excited to announce that the Messenger API for Instagram is now available to select Re:amaze customers (see phased rollout below)! Businesses that currently use Instagram to communicate with their customers privately can now leverage the Messenger API for Instagram to receive customer messages directly in their Re:amaze inbox. This brand new API opens a wide range of capabilities for businesses to handle messaging at scale on Instagram and Re:amaze. For businesses and merchants new to Facebook’s family of products, we believe this is an exciting opportunity for them to explore commerce opportunities on Instagram.

“We are thrilled that Re:amaze is launching Messenger API for Instagram. The Messenger API for Instagram is now available for all developers who make it possible for brands to improve and enhance messaging experiences with customers. By integrating the Messenger API for Instagram, businesses and developers can effectively scale messaging workflows to better own the customer experience and build more authentic relationships.”

Konstantinos Papamiltiadis, VP of Platform Partnerships at Messenger

The Messenger API for Instagram is available to select Re:amaze users (see phased rollout below) at no additional cost starting today and can be accessed through Re:amaze’s Social Channels settings menu.
