Re:amaze Classic Live Chat Now Supports Smart Assign

Classic Live Chat just got another improvement! If workload distribution among your staff is a top priority, the smart assign option through an automated Workflow has been the best solution.

To make this process easier, we’ve made an update to Classic Live Chat so that even workflow distribution is more easily accomplished. This feature update is for “Auto Assign Chats”.

Having the “Auto Assign Chats” option turned on will make it so that Re:amaze Classic Live Chat conversations will be Smart Assigned amongst available staff. An automated Workflow for smart assigning chats is no longer needed. In addition, having this feature turned on means that any awaiting chats (queued up due to maximum chat limit being met) will automatically get served as soon an existing chat ends.

If you currently have an existing Workflow for smart assigning classic live chats or for assigning to a department, this setting will not override your Workflow.
