You spoke and we listened. The brand new Shoutbox and Lightbox experience has landed!
Both embeddable support widgets now support a taller default view, larger and more legible fonts, more informative user experiences, and updated Widget Builders. We’ve given you the ability to augment the existing Shoutbox trigger to include a proactive prompt that can be customized easily. There’s now an “Expected Response Times” notification based on historical response times so customers can be aware of your availabilities (updated via your brand’s text settings). Also, avatars! Just make sure every agent has a photo uploaded to be more approachable.
To get started with customizing your very own widget with all the updates, simply head on over to the Widget Builder and play around with the settings!
There’s nothing you need to do to take advantage of this update. However, if you’d like to customize things further, simply head on over to the Widget Builder in your settings menu.
